We are seeking a reliable Facility Maintenance Technician to support the overall upkeep, cleanliness, and functionality of our building and grounds. This role includes performing general maintenance and minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, addressing basic electrical and plumbing issues like leaks or clogs, monitoring HVAC systems, and conducting routine walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs. Responsibilities also include replacing ceiling tiles, maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility—including the sanctuary, restrooms, offices, classrooms, and common areas—and completing tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, sanitizing, and restocking supplies. The technician will ensure the building is consistently prepared for midweek and weekend services while maintaining a safe, clean, and welcoming environment.

In addition, this position supports exterior and event-related needs by maintaining the grounds, including trash removal, walkway and parking lot upkeep, and assisting with seasonal tasks such as leaf removal and snow or ice management. The role also involves setting up and resetting rooms for services, meetings, and events, assisting with tables, chairs, and basic equipment, and ensuring all spaces are cleaned and restored afterward. The technician is responsible for identifying and reporting safety hazards, securing the building and equipment at the end of each shift, and following all safety protocols when using tools. Candidates should have basic maintenance knowledge, the ability to work independently, and the physical capability to perform manual labor.
